We plan to invite elementary-middle school girls from our community to our high school and hold a series of workshops and presentations that would help promote the STEM field to them. Workshops would include activities about physical science (chemistry experiments, etc.), life sciences (small ecosystems, life observations, etc.), technology/engineering (eggdrops, challenges, robotics, programming), and mathematics (math competitions). We will also bring in female guest speakers who work in STEM careers to talk to the girls to give them information about STEM careers and educational opportunities. Aside from this, we will design our school’s library that would help high school students in their education. We will focus on designing it as a study space for students.
